Central Committee meeting of Parliament about the report of the Committee of TEATT regarding a discussion with Wholesalers & Retailers of Food and Beverage Companies

 

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten- The Central Committee will meet in a session on Thursday, April 15, 2021.

The Central Committee meeting is scheduled for 10.00 hrs. in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelminastraat #1 in Philipsburg.

The agenda points are:

1. Report of the Committee of TEATT on a discussion with Wholesalers & Retailers of Food and Beverage Companies concerning price gouging, issues pertaining to COVID-19, handling of curfew operations and challenges being faced (IS/815/2019-2020 dated May 6, 2020)
2. Clarification of UN petition
3. Approval composition delegation and provisions for special delegates of the Parliament of Sint Maarten to participate in the handling in the First Chamber of the Kingdom Law Dispute Regulation on June 1, 2021(IS/578/2020-2021 dated April 14, 2021)

Due to measures taken to mitigate the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the House of Parliament is only allowing persons with an appointment to enter the Parliament building.
