Committee for District Councils of Parliament to meet with Cay Bay Community Council on Thursday

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten- The Committee for District Councils of Parliament will meet on February 17, 2022.

 

The Committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday, at 9.30 hrs. in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelminastraat #1 in Philipsburg. Representatives of the Cay Bay Community Council will be present.

 

Upon the request of Member of Parliament Solange L. Duncan, the Committee for District Councils will be convening meetings with the various community councils in Sint Maarten. The intention of these meetings is to allow the community councils to present the challenges and any solutions that they might have within their respective community. Previously, the first of said meetings was held with representatives of the Dutch Quarter Community Council.

Presentation by the Cay Bay Community Council on community challenges and needs (IS/499/2020-2021 dated March 16, 2021)

Member of Parliament S.L. Duncan requested this meeting.

 

Due to measures taken to mitigate the coronavirus (COVID-19), the House of Parliament is only allowing persons with an appointment to enter the Parliament building.
